About being in flow (or not) in my videos!
Ooh ooh ooh (~flapping hands up and down excitedly~) there’s something I completely forgot to tell you about!
When I posted the bloopers for my Paradox Experience video over the bank holiday weekend, I said I was pondering being in and out of flow during the process of filming. I wrote about it, and it was a guest post on Claire Raikes’ blog. How could I have forgotten to mention it?!
Anyway, my Guest Post About Flow is over by ‘ere.
(Thank you, Claire! Thank you, readers.

Video killed the radio star
(If you’re reading this in email, the video won’t come through so click the title to watch in your browser.)
There are two things I have done recently that I’d never done before – well, probably more, but two I’m thinking of right this moment: radio and video.
I’ve been on the radio twice in the past month, and thanks to the wonderful hosts of the Stardust Show on Bro Radio, Claire Raikes and Lynne Lauren, it’s been a fab, fun, pain-free experience.
I’ve also been filming the video for the Paradox Experience website, and that was completely the opposite of a piece of cake. (Hmmm. What would be the opposite of a piece of cake? A mountain of mash, maybe? Anyway.) It took two days and about 70 takes. The result is the 2-minute video which is now on the website… but I’ve also put together a small selection of the ones that didn’t make it:

I’m pondering – and writing about – how it was so hard for me to be in flow while doing this. Lack of practice, overthinking it, lots of stuff! There will be another blog post soon. In the meantime, have a great bank holiday weekend. x
Passion + commitment = this result
Watch this. This is magical.
I’m not into skateboarding, but the camera work is beautiful and also, because a lot of it is in slo-mo, you get to appreciate the magic that is happening – which would be too quick to see in real life. Plus it’s set to a great track.
But my point is – this is the magic that is possible when you make a commitment to your passion and LIVE IT.

Now go forth, and do something.

How to kill a cat?
This is a short video my lbf (lovely boyfriend) found on YouTube. It made me laugh and laugh and laugh. It’s called Comment tuer un chat? which means How to kill a cat? in French. It’s not nasty at all. (Or I wouldn’t have it here!)
