Soultrepeneurship.
A loose definition – made up as I go along:
- you run or plan to run your own business
- you operate from your heart (as well as your mind – they’re on a par)
- you exercise honesty and integrity in all your dealings
- you communicate in a compassionate way
- you treat yourself, your business and other people with kindness
- you use critical discernment to ensure you establish relationships with people whose values match yours; you avoid those whose values are not aligned with yours
- you are authentic and true to yourself
- you are part of a (probably informal) connected, collaborative and cooperative (not competitive) network of like-minded people, from which you derive a sense of belonging, as well as a sense of being free
- you form long-term, generative relationships with clients and collaborators
- you follow your soul’s purpose
- you choose joy at all times
- you believe in trust
- this applies to your personal life as well as your business life.
There is a shift which is happening in human consciousness. Soultrepreneurship is that, translated for the business world. How do you live it? Anything to add to this? Tweet me or email me.
Thanks to Tyrone Kidney, Barb McMahon and Emily Wilkinson for contributing their thoughts towards a more complete picture of soultrepreneurship.
